Reiki is a vibrational healing system that is channelled by the
practitioner. It derives from Japan and gets its name from two
Japanese words Rei and ki Together they mean Universal Life Energy.
It is an ancient system that can be experienced by either hands on or by distance healing.

Reiki has its foundations in ancient Buddhism and was rediscovered in the late 19th century by Dr Mikao Usui who was responsible for this ancient tradition becoming popular in the modern world.
A Reiki treatment encourages physical, mental and emotional healing and spiritual growth. It is effective in easing symptoms of stress, anxiety, pain and illness and works on both a conscious and subconscious level, helping to stimulate the body's natural healing process.
After an initial consultation, the Client will be asked to lie fully clothed on the treatment table (seated treatments can also be given if this is not possible). The practitioner will then start channelling the Reiki energy. This will be done by laying their hands in various positions from the head down to the feet.
The Reiki energy will flow automatically to the areas of the body
that require it.
Reiki can also be combined with Colour Healing.
